About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organized Account Coordinator to support retail growth for a portfolio of vendor partners at mass—primarily with Target.  This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting sales teams through exceptional execution and attention to detail.

You’ll support key sales processes by managing meeting inputs, tracking action items, and ensuring timely follow-through.  You’re detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about helping our vendor partners succeed through smooth, strategic retail execution.

You’re someone who takes ownership, spots gaps before they become issues, and finds satisfaction in driving structure, follow-through, and alignment to help sales efforts land effectively.

What You’ll Do

Support Sales Strategy + Execution

  • Act as a key point of contact for Target account operations and day-to-day communication.

  • Own and organize item-level details for new and existing business, track product lifecycle status, and maintain an accurate source of truth for the team to reference.

  • Monitor retailer systems and vendor communications, flagging key actions and insights to sales leads.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to execute cascading sales action items, taking ownership of deliverables and follow-ups.

Own Item Set Up + Data Integrity

  • Own the end-to-end item setup process for all item types, ensuring product data is complete, accurate, and compliant with retailer guidelines.

  • Source item data from vendors, enter in internal and retailer systems, and proactively resolve discrepancies ahead of deadlines.

  • Review retailer purchase orders daily to validate against current vendor information.

Drive Digital Optimization

  • Manage and maintain digital product content across retailer platforms, including images, videos, rich media, and copy.

  • Analyze digital shelf performance, identify content health gaps, and share monthly recommendations with internal teams and vendors to improve digital visibility and conversion.

Coordinate Transition + Seasonal Submissions

  • Manage key retail timelines and milestones for transitions and seasonal planning.

  • Lead sample submissions and vendor readiness for line reviews and seasonal assortments.

  • Draft and manage communication related to new item submissions, vendor follow-ups, and launch reporting.

  • Partner with the Vendor Relations Manager to support order point setup and ensure smooth item launches.

Pitch In Where Needed

  • Jump into high-priority projects or special assignments during busy seasons or when additional support is needed.

  • Lead office hospitality efforts, ensuring our work environment is organized, stocked, and meeting-ready.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in retail account coordination or sales support

  • Experience supporting Target as a vendor or from the retail side is required

  • Experience with additional retailers (e.g., Walmart, Kohl’s) is a plus

  • Proficient with Target retail systems, including POL, Item Maintenance Systems, Vendor Portals, etc.

  • Proficient in MS Excel; ability to utilize platform to drive efficiency (i.e. v lookups, sorting/grouping data, etc.)

  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail

  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Highly proactive, accountable, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
